The Lifetime Clearwater Aquarium Filter

The waste cannot escape the 1 million linear feet of bacteria for each 20 gallons of water that is attached to the gravel. Two types of bacteria are produced with this filter. Aerobic bacteria reduces the waste to gases while anaerobic bacteria turns these "bad" gases into useful products for fish and plant life. The Clearwater filtration system is a true biological filtration system.
